Counselling for the things that build up over time
You don't need a diagnosis to see a counsellor. Often it's about having somewhere to talk things through, think clearly, and decide what to do next — especially if you're looking after other people. The work is person-centred: you bring what matters, and we go at your pace.
The things people most often bring:
- Grief
- Caring responsibilities (carers and people receiving care)
- Stress
- Anxiety
- Low mood
- Life transitions
- Living with chronic illness
You don't need to fit one of these. If something's weighing on you and you'd like to talk it through, that's reason enough.
If you're in a caring role, I've been there myself — I was a carer for my parents for more than ten years. More about counselling for carers →
What to expect
Sessions are calm and practical, and go at your pace. You don't need to have anything figured out beforehand. You decide what we talk about; I help you think it through.
How I work
My approach is person-centred: a calm, unhurried space where you feel heard and respected. Where they fit, I also draw on ACT and culturally sensitive practice.
Online, Australia-wide
Sessions are by video call — no commute, no waiting room. All you need is somewhere private and a phone, tablet or computer. No referral needed.
